June 8, 2020 Ministry & Schedule Update:
 

Sunday School Small Groups:

• Will resume in person and onsite for all ages Sunday, July 5, at 9:15 AM.

• CDC Guidelines will be in place and practiced in our preschool and children’s ministries and highly encouraged in our youth and adult ministries.

Preschool Childcare/Nursery:

• Will resume for our Sunday Morning Worship Service only beginning Sunday, July 5, at 10:30 AM.

• CDC Guidelines will be in place and practiced.

 

Sunday Evening Ministries:

• Sunday Evening Worship Service will resume August 2, at 6:30 PM; simultaneous preschool, children’s, and youth ministries will resume August 9.

• CDC Guidelines will be in place and practiced.
   

Wednesday Evening Ministries:

• Wednesday Evening Ministries will resume August 19 including preschool, children’s, youth ministries and Wednesday Worship and Celebration Choir Rehearsal; Fellowship Meal will also resume August 19.

• CDC Guidelines will be in place and practiced.
   

Miscellaneous Announcements:

• Our June Members’ Meeting will be Wednesday, June 24, at 6:30 PM in the Sanctuary Auditorium. We will NOT have a members’ meeting in July.

• We will serve the Lord’s Supper in the Sunday Evening Worship Service August 9, at 6:30 PM. We will serve the Lord’s Supper in the Sunday Morning Worship Service September 13, at 10:30 AM.

• We will not have hymnals, pew bibles, pens, offering envelopes or our Fellowship Pads in the Sanctuary Auditorium for the foreseeable future.

For Your Comfort:

• We will have designated sections in the Sanctuary for those at-risk attendees including those over 65 years of age or whose health/immune system is compromised.

• Our seating on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings will be for households on every other row and with each row marked in 6 foot increments for social distancing according to CDC guidelines.

• Tithes and offerings can be given in person on Sunday morning to ushers with offering plates upon exiting. Furthermore, tithes and offerings will still be received in person to the church office during the week (Monday-Thursday) or by mail or online.

For Your Safety:

• Please feel the freedom to stay at home and continue to worship with us online if:

  • You are 65 years of age or older;Please bring personal masks and gloves if available, and EBC will provide masks and gloves for any who don’t bring them and prefer to have them.

  • We will have hand sanitizer/stations throughout the facility to be used often and regularly upon entering and exiting.

  • Furthermore, please continue to observe personal hygiene practices including washing hands thoroughly after using the restrooms.

  • In addition to our cleaning service cleaning our facilities multiple times each week, we will sanitize all of our facilities once a week.

  • Our Deacons will be present at each service wearing gloves to serve in any way needed including ushering to chosen seats.

  • Please don’t arrive to the church any earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start of each service.

  • We do ask that you respect others by being mindful of social distancing practices, and you won’t be judged negatively for how you choose to practice your own social distancing and personal hygiene precautions.

  • You or a family member are immune compromised;

  • You have had any type of sickness recently;

  • You have been around someone who was sick recently;

  • You have been around someone who has been in contact with or suspected to have COVID-19;

  • You have traveled to an area with many COVID-19 cases;

  • You are uncomfortable being around groups of people.

All of the above decisions were made by our staff and deacons after much prayer and discussion. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this unprecedented time. Please know we are doing our best to demonstrate our love for God and our neighbor with these decisions, actions, and guidelines.
