Emory Baptist Church Student Ministry

Philippians 1:9-11 says,
"And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God."
Paul prays that the Philippians' love for Christ would produce in them "epignosis," or "real knowledge." Paul's word implies a real sense of genuine knowledge and understanding that (as Paul continues) helps the Philippians know the right and best way to live.  My vision for ministry is that I personally would live with this compass of knowing the things that really matter and living according to the leading of the Spirit.  Further, I want to help others to find this depth of knowledge through obedience to the Spirit of God and the Word of God.
We have named the student ministry at Emory Baptist Real Student Ministry because we want to lead students to love Christ with a devotion that leads them into the "epignosis" of a life surrendured to Him.

Summer Camp Plans 2020

High School - June 22-26, 2020

Junior High - July 13-17, 2020

Emory Baptist Church is doing something different for camp this year. We will have 2 weeks of smaller camp-like adventure at a cabin setting on the Lower Mountain Fork River in Oklahoma. We will have video-driven worship services and Bible studies. And we will have opportunity to go kayaking one day, visit Lake Broken Bow and other adventures.

Camp costs $130 for Emory Baptist students and $210 for members of other churches.

We have 30 spaces, so you'll want to reserve your space early. $50 deposit reserves your spot for camp.

If you have any other questions, contact Ronnie. Or you can fill out an online interest form here.
